Glos – presets of light warmth and brightness – are mapped to times of day. When a room’s lights are turned on, illumination is based on the Glo schedule.

Smart Lights

Smart light are where your HomeGlo starts. Smart lights are advanced lighting devices, including bulbs, ceiling down lights, light strips, that integrate technology for greater convenience, control, and efficiency. HomeGlo connects them to your home network via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or a dedicated hub, allowing you to control them using a smartphone, voice commands, or motion controls and physcial controls.

The most intuitive way to adjust smart light
When it’s dark and you need light, arguing with Alexa or opening your phone is not fun. Smart lights need physical smart controls which coordinate all light sources in a room. They replace electricity-based switches, which you’ll cover with a mount that holds a smart control.

Location
Smart controls are battery powered and can therefore go anywhere. Excellent ones are $20 at Costco. We help identify spots for them in your home that maximize control.

Simple
We make smart controls dead-simple. Each coordinates all lights in the room:

Motion-triggered light is great in rooms not used for sleep.
When you enter a room, it’s lit right.

Motion-triggered light is magic in rooms where the main function is to walk from one end to the other.

These rooms are usually under-lit because we don’t bother flipping a switch for the 10 seconds it takes to pass through, only to flip it off again. You’ll feel more comfortable walking through these perfectly lit rooms.
